Southern Shuttle Service to Transition from Diesel to Electric Trains as EMU Fleet Arrives
Malaysia's Transport Ministry is using diesel trains temporarily on the Southern Shuttle service while awaiting delivery of new Electric Multiple Unit trains, Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced, with an annual subsidy of RM11 million to RM15 million allocated to support the service.
