Malaysia's Yasmeen Muhamad Shariff Wins Seat on UN Children's Rights Committee
Malaysia's Datuk Yasmeen Muhamad Shariff has been elected to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child for 2027–2031, securing 136 votes from 189 States Parties. This is her second appointment to the committee.
