Former PMs Not Automatically Invited to National Day Celebrations, Says Protocol Office
Malaysia's National Day Secretariat has clarified that former prime ministers do not automatically receive invitations to official celebrations. The practice, established since 2018, allows former leaders to attend only through formal application and approval.
