Thailand's Public Health Minister has moved forward with a Cannabis and Hemp Act designed to restrict cannabis to medical applications while imposing strict controls on dispensing outlets. The legislation aims to eliminate an estimated 6,000 unlicensed cannabis shops operating nationwide.
