Sky to acquire ITV for $2.1bn, reshaping British broadcasting landscape
Comcast's Sky has agreed to purchase ITV's broadcast channels and streaming platform for £1.6 billion ($2.13 billion), combining Britain's largest free-to-air commercial broadcaster with a major pay-TV operator to better compete against Netflix, Amazon and Disney.
