Malaysia Moves to Strengthen Railway Security With Tougher Laws and High-Tech Systems
The Malaysian government is finalising legal amendments to impose harsher punishments for crimes targeting railway infrastructure, including cable theft, trespassing and vandalism. Parliament will consider the revised laws later this year.
