UMNO Candidate Row: Puad Exits Party Over Son's Rengit Snub
UMNO's Datuk Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi has quit the party following dissatisfaction that his son was not nominated for the Rengit state seat. UMNO secretary-general Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki says Puad previously threatened to attack the party if his demands were not met.
