Pakistan and Iran Move to Restore Freight Rail Link to Istanbul
Pakistan and Iran are working to reactivate the Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul freight train service, which was suspended in 2022. The initiative aims to strengthen trade routes connecting South Asia with Turkey, Central Asia, Russia and Europe.
