Typhoon Maysak Batters Hainan, Shutting Down Transport and Schools
Typhoon Maysak struck China's Hainan Province on Friday evening, halting all train services, closing airports and suspending ferry operations. Schools in multiple counties also shut their doors as the storm moves northwest through the island.
