Labuan Airport Halted Again as WWII Bomb Discovered Near Runway
Labuan Airport suspended operations on July 2 after a suspected World War II-era bomb was discovered 200 metres from the runway on Royal Malaysian Air Force land. The discovery marks the second such incident in a week at the same location.
