Prisons Amendment Bill 2026 Postponed for Further Parliamentary Review
Malaysia has postponed debate on the Prisons Amendment Bill 2026, which proposes electronic monitoring and volunteer rehabilitation programmes. The legislation will undergo further review by two parliamentary select committees.
