Malaysia's fiscal deficit has contracted to 3.7% of GDP in 2025 from 4.1% the previous year, reflecting five consecutive years of fiscal improvement. Deputy Finance Minister Liew Chin Tong attributed the progress to sustained economic reform efforts.
