RM1 Interbank ATM Fee Waived From July 1 to Support Rural Banking Access
Malaysia's Finance Ministry and banks have agreed to eliminate the RM1 fee for interbank cash withdrawals at ATMs and Smart Recycler Machines beginning July 1, targeting rural communities with limited banking infrastructure.
