The Royal Brunei Police Force's Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit conducted two separate operations on Sunday, June 14, resulting in the detention of two local women suspected of involvement in immoral activities across the Brunei-Muara District.

The first raid took place in Kampong Salambigar, where officers apprehended a 39-year-old woman at a rented room on suspicion of engaging in vice-related conduct. This operation was part of the unit's ongoing efforts to dismantle illicit networks operating within residential areas.

Hours later, a second operation was carried out in Kampong Lumapas, leading to the arrest of a 29-year-old woman accused of facilitating and participating in comparable offences. Both individuals, together with evidence collected from the raids, were transported to the unit's headquarters for interrogation and case preparation.

The RBPF has reinforced its resolve to stamp out vice and moral transgressions that undermine social stability and community integrity. The force urged residents to report suspected illicit activities by calling the police hotline at 993, enabling swift intervention to protect public welfare.
