Many Malaysians acknowledge awareness of threats in general terms without grasping the specific mechanisms through which attackers operate or the precise pathways through which personal information becomes exposed. This knowledge gap creates vulnerability; consumers who cannot accurately assess risk tend to either adopt excessive caution that limits their engagement with beneficial services, or conversely, proceed with insufficient protection. Quantum computers theoretically threaten current encryption standards that secure everything from financial transactions to government communications, prompting security experts worldwide to develop quantum-resistant cryptography.
